Starting an order

Where is Suguna Engineering Works located?

Suguna Engineering Works is based in Balanagar, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The head office is at 6-2-102/P50, Shirdi Sai Nagar, Gautam Nagar, Balanagar, Hyderabad 500042. Contact the team before arranging a visit or sending a sample.

Address and contact details

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. We support orders from a single part to prototypes, small batches, production and repeat orders. Send the drawing and quantity so material, setup, inspection, price and timing can be reviewed.

No MOQ and order options

Can I order just one custom machined component?

Yes. A single-part requirement can be reviewed and quoted. Setup, material sourcing, finishing and reports affect the price even when the quantity is one; no MOQ does not mean there are no setup costs.

Starting with one part

What should I send for a manufacturing quotation?

Send the latest dimensioned PDF drawing, STEP or IGES model where available, material grade and condition, quantity, finish, inspection requirements, delivery date and destination. Explain any critical fits or features that need recorded measurements.

Send a manufacturing enquiry

Can I enquire before my drawing is complete?

Yes. Explain the part’s function, project stage and main question, with a sketch, model or sample photos where available. A free initial DFM call can help identify the next step. The manufacturing scope is agreed against an approved requirement.

Discuss an early design

Can I supply my own material or partly machined part?

Yes, buyer-supplied stock or a partly completed component can be reviewed. Tell us what is already supplied, its grade and condition, and which remaining operations are required. Acceptance, handling and final checks are agreed before the order.

Define the remaining work

How quickly can you manufacture my parts?

Lead time is confirmed after reviewing the drawing, material availability, quantity, operations, finishing and inspection. Share your required date early. An urgent result described in a case study is an exceptional project outcome, not a standard turnaround promise.

Quotation and order sequence

How do I place a repeat order?

Reference the approved part number and drawing revision, then specify the new quantity and required date. Highlight changes to material, finish, inspection or delivery details so the quotation refers to the correct requirement.

Repeat-order planning

Machining and specialist processes

Do you provide CNC milling and CNC turning?

Yes. Milling enquiries include housings, brackets, plates and fixtures; turning enquiries include shafts, bushes, sleeves and flanges. We review material, geometry, tool access, critical features and quantity before agreeing the manufacturing route.

Compare manufacturing processes

Which CNC milling machines are referenced on the site?

Selected references include Haas VF-4 and Cosmos CVM-series machining centres. Published travel figures help start a capacity discussion; usable component size depends on the actual setup, workholding and tool clearance. Share your complete requirement even when it differs from the examples shown.

Milling equipment and travel

What diameters and lengths can you turn?

Working references include Ace Micromatic Ø150 × 350 mm and a Jyoti DX 200-series Ø320 mm working diameter. Exact working length, support, chucking and suitability are checked for the component. These references do not establish a universal finished-part envelope.

Turning capacity references

Can you manufacture features to ±0.005 mm?

Tolerances down to ±0.005 mm can be considered for suitable features, subject to drawing, material, geometry, setup and inspection review. Identify the critical features, datums, GD&T and required reporting so the achievable requirement can be agreed.

Precision and inspection context

Can you review 3-, 4- or 5-axis machining requirements?

Yes. Send the model and drawing for multi-face or multi-axis review. The route depends on the required setup and actual configuration; simultaneous 5-axis machining is confirmed separately rather than assumed from a general capability description.

Multi-face machining review

Do you provide wire-cut EDM?

Yes. Wire EDM enquiries cover drawing-defined profiles, narrow slots and detailed contours in electrically conductive materials. Send the profile, part thickness, material condition, tolerance and edge-finish requirement.

Wire EDM details and examples

Can wire EDM be considered for hardened components?

Yes. Electrically conductive, heat-treated material can be reviewed for wire EDM. State the exact grade, hardness or treatment condition, thickness and profile requirement; wire access, setup and finishing determine suitability.

Material condition and wire access

What wire EDM working reference is listed?

The FOSTEX FDK7735 reference is 450 × 350 mm X/Y travel. Workholding, thickness, wire threading and geometry must also be reviewed; nominal travel is not a guaranteed component size.

Engraving a supplied item

Can you engrave part numbers, serial numbers and direction arrows?

Yes, suitable component markings can be reviewed. Specify the exact text, sequence, character height, orientation, position and controlled depth if required. Our examples include OPEN / CLOSE labels, arrows and numeric references.

Industrial marking examples

Can engraving replace a dedicated punch for marking?

For suitable marking work, our internal engraving route can avoid designing and making a dedicated punch, helping reduce preparation time and cost. The route must still meet the approved marking and acceptance requirements; send the item and batch details for comparison.

Engraving as a marking alternative

What engraving size reference should I use?

The published engraving bed reference is 200 × 200 mm. Usable marking area, height, clamping and position need review, so the bed size alone does not guarantee that an item can be accepted.

Size, surface and marking depth

Can you engrave decorative artwork or a logo?

Yes, artwork enquiries can be reviewed. Supply the design or reference, final size, material and intended appearance, with permission to use the artwork. Fine detail and contrast are checked at the intended marking size before approval.

Artwork and engraving examples

Can I enquire about engraving from another Indian city?

Yes. Enquiries are welcome from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad and elsewhere in India. Include photos, dimensions and the delivery postcode so the team can review the work before a visit, collection or dispatch is arranged.

Free DFM calls and design review

How long is the free DFM call?

The initial call is free for up to 25 minutes. Further discussion is agreed as a follow-up or separate call. Detailed engineering, samples and manufacturing are scoped and quoted separately; there is no automatic paid extension.

Free DFM terms and next steps

What should I send before a DFM call?

Share the part’s function, project stage, main question, material, quantity, available drawing or photos, critical features and required date. Include preferred times and time zone. Relevant detail helps the engineer prepare before the call.

Prepare for the DFM discussion

Does a DFM request reserve a time slot?

No. Send your preferred times and time zone; the team contacts you to agree a suitable time. The website does not currently provide automatic slot booking.

Request a DFM call

Can we arrange an NDA before sharing drawings?

Yes. Contact the team before uploading sensitive files. You can discuss an NDA and request a call without attachments, then agree the appropriate file-sharing route.

Discuss confidentiality first

Does the free DFM call include simulation or full engineering validation?

The initial call focuses on manufacturing choices, access, materials, tolerances and cost drivers. Specialist design calculations, simulation, safety validation or certification for complex components need a separate technical scope outside the free 25-minute review.

DFM scope and preparation

Can DFM help reduce manufacturing cost?

A DFM review can identify features, setups or process choices worth reconsidering. In the Printera account, the revised approach reduced estimated manufacturing cost by approximately 35% for that particular component. Results depend on the actual design and manufacturing requirement.
