Fits, bores and threads
Identify mating diameters, thread standards, grooves, shoulders, surface finish and concentricity or runout requirements. Include the datum scheme and any dimensions that apply after treatment.
Workholding and additional operations
Send overall diameter and length, bore depth, stock condition and any slender or thin-walled sections. Chucking, support and tool access determine the workable route. Flats, cross-holes, slots, engraving and finishing can be reviewed in the same enquiry.
Samples and repeat batches
A sample or first article can be planned before a larger quantity. Agree the drawing revision, inspection characteristics and acceptance method so repeat orders refer to the same approved requirement.
